The VMH 35-D reads a diesel engine's J1939 bus directly and shows the data and alarms on a sun-readable colour screen. Both 12 V and 24 V systems are supported, which matters for commercial and larger marine installations.
EasyLink lets you hang additional VMH 14 satellite displays off it, so a second station or an engine-room repeater does not need its own gateway. A GPS version is available if you want speed and heading alongside engine data.
